The fine print.
What you’re allowed to do with our instruments, and where we stand on refunds. We’ve tried to keep it readable. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.

Use our instruments in anything you make: your own records, client work, commercial releases, with no extra fees and nothing to clear. Just don’t redistribute the sounds themselves. There’s a free demo, and the demo is the try-before-you-buy, because a licence key can’t be un-sent. Once it’s delivered, the sale is final.
[ your licence ]
Licensed, not sold
By purchasing a serial number or a licence key for one of our instruments, you agree that the instrument is licensed, not sold to you. This licence is personal and non-transferable.
Use it in your work
- Use the instrument in your own compositions and commercial work for clients/media, without any restrictions or additional fees
Redistribute the sounds
- Make copies of this instrument or its content, as a whole or in part, with the intent to re-distribute, sell or give them away
- Re-use or re-package any of the instrument’s content in another virtual instrument or sample library
- Distribute or sell third-party sound packs, presets or other content intended for use within our software
Installing the library in Native Access, or activating a plugin with your licence key, means you agree to the terms above.

Refunds
Try it first. There’s a free demo, so you can play it in your own sessions for as long as you like and hear exactly what you’re getting before you spend anything.
If something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us. We’re two people, we read everything, and any exception is ours to make.
If a payment is reversed after a key has been delivered, that key is withdrawn, and the licence goes with it.
Buying from the EU. Before we deliver a key, checkout asks you to agree to immediate delivery and to give up the 14-day right of withdrawal. That box is what lets us send the key on the spot.
Design pieces. The physical pieces from our design collection ship within the US. If you’d like to return one, get in touch within 14 days of delivery and we’ll sort it out.
Using our products is at the licensee’s own risk. Clay and Kelsy Instruments hold no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss arising from any form of use of this product.
